Ruby 1.9: lighter than before

Now ruby travels lighter than before, let’s see why:

rubygems is now officially a part of the language distribution, so we don’t need no more to write:

require 'rubygems'

rake too is now officially in the language suite.

Of course, something less used went out. In fact some libraries like soap or jcode are now outside the official languange distribution, but always reachable as gems.

By the way, before using some gem be sure it has been “ported” to 1.9 version consulting http://isitruby19.com.
